How to Reach Bir Billing from Delhi
- By Bus: Overnight buses from Delhi (₹900 one way)
- Travel time: 11–12 hours
- Best option: Leave around 8–10 PM, reach by morning
We left at 9 PM and reached around 8:30 AM.
Where to Stay in Bir Billing
We stayed at Birdhouse Villa, which was beautiful and comfortable.
But Bir has plenty of options:
- Budget hostels
- Homestays
- Boutique stays
- Luxury villas

3-Day Bir Billing Itinerary
Day 1: Bir Market, Cafés & Sunset at Landing Site
After checking in and freshening up, we rented a scooty (₹400/day) highly recommended for exploring.
Lunch at Bir Landing Site
We went to The Himalayan Pizza great food and a perfect first stop.

Explore Bir Village
While riding through the village, we stopped near a bridge and tried siddu one of the best local dishes I’ve ever had.
Buransh Café Experience
Later, we visited Buransh Café:
- Tried their famous buransh iced tea
- Watched paragliding trainees
- Relaxed for hours
Sunset at Bir Landing Site
The sunset here is unreal.



We sat there for almost 3 hours, watching paragliders land and the sky turn golden — one of the most peaceful experiences.

Ended the day with:
- Laphing
- Momos
Day 2: Paragliding in Bir Billing + Rajgundha & Barot Trip
Paragliding Experience in Bir Billing
We left early at 7 AM for Billing.
Paragliding had been on my bucket list for 4 years, and it finally happened.
With my pilot Anil, the experience was incredible:
- 15–20 minutes flight
- Stunning mountain views
- Complete silence and freedom

- Paragliding: ₹3000
- GoPro 360 video: ₹1000
- Photos: ₹300

Road Trip to Rajgundha Valley & Barot

After landing, we continued our adventure:
- Rajgundha Valley → raw, scenic, peaceful
- Barot Valley → quiet and beautiful
The return journey via highway was tiring, but the views made it worth it.
Day 3: Rain, Cafés & Departure
It started raining at 5 AM, and we stayed in bed enjoying the weather.
Luckily, we had already done paragliding the previous day.
By 12 PM, the weather cleared.
Northern Café (Must Visit in Bir)
We visited the famous Northern Café, and it truly lived up to the hype.
We spent 3 hours there:
- Great food
- Calm environment
- Views of paragliders flying above
Last Stop: Bir Market
Before leaving, we:
- Explored the market
- Bought fridge magnets as souvenirs
Then boarded our 6 PM bus back to Delhi.
Travel Tips for Bir Billing
- Rent a scooty for easy travel
- Do paragliding early morning (best weather)
- Carry cash (some places may not accept UPI)
- Try local food like siddu & laphing
- Spend time at the landing site during sunset

Absolutely.
This trip gave me:
